Interesting. But let's all get nice, big, humbling REALITY check. No one knows what's correct. No one on the face of the Earth can tell me with real confidence who God is. So to fight over which religion is right, which one is wrong, is absolutely ridiculous. I'm a Christian, and I'm perfectly aware of these stolen aspects of the faith. Facts and faith can work together. Maybe these aspects have been incorporated into the world's largest religion because they're correct. As for the Christians v. Pagans, in the past--- absolutely. A lot of Chrisitans sucked. But everyone's got a spotty history. There is something to be said for the progression of mankind's understanding, empathy, etc. I think, as most probably do, that oppression of minorities has lessened. As for the Christian 'assault' on pagans today, let's face facts--- everyone's out to get everyone else. It's overgeneralized posts coming from bloggers like yadokta that I'm scared of. Are christians are evil? Are you kidding? That's terrifying. I guess--- there's something to be said for the bond of ignorance in the face of God that all humans share. No one's got a clue; faith is all we've got. I've chosen my path, you've got yours. And as corny as it sounds--- cant we all just get along? (posted in A message to all christians)
how has no one commenting on this? congrats. I guess? I'm sort of in the same boat, and if someone had congratulated me I might have hit them in the face... but 'congrats' seemed like that least awkward approach to ending this comment. Anyways, thought i'd drop a comment (posted in coming out)
it depends on how good you are with face-to-face conversations with Amanda. if you can keep your cool, in person is better. If you'd be more composed, email. Definitely not flowers, definitely not phone-message. (posted in I'm Staying Here - The New Guy Is Better In Bed!)
