It seems like everyone is bickering and arguing about the constitution. Has anyone even thought about looking at the constitution? Has anyone even thought about what it really, actually says?
The constitution does not have anything supporting Social Security and Medicare. In other words, both of these GOVERNMENT RAN programs were in place AFTER the constitution. So if so many Americans are for the constitution instead of against the constitution, then why don’t we elect to get rid of Social Security and Medicare? The Republicans were in office more than the Democrats, but yet no Republican President has elected to get rid of these programs. Why is that? All of the sudden, every American wants to live and say what this country’s constitutional rights are.
This country was founded by Native Americans, for they were here FIRST. Everyone that is not of Native American blood are immigrants, rather born naturally or naturalized citizens. When someone says they want their country back, what are they really saying or implying? I have heard a lot of people say they have Irish-American pride, Mexican-American pride, Italian-American pride, German-American pride, but I have not heard anyone say they have American pride, and for all Americans; not just the pride of Irish, Mexican, Italian, German, Italian, etc. If we have American pride, then we should stand by America, one nation, under God (Jesus, Lord our God).
A woman said in a town-hall meeting about a woman losing her job and need an operation. A Virginia Politician states to get help via charity. Whom is to say how much charity would cover and if it does not cover everything, she is still stuck with a bill, maybe causing her to file for bankruptcy, wrecking her credit and credit score. A Senator from Oklahoma told a woman to get help from a neighbor, but how can people get help from a neighbor if they may not be able to help themselves. On a PBS interview he admitted to saying the Federal Government’s responsibility… What is the responsibility of the Federal Government? Could it be to provide healthcare.
If Americans want this country to run by the constitution, then let’s get rid of Social Security and Medicare all together. If one does not want to get rid of Social Security or Medicare, then it should be simple to get healthcare for Government option – what else do you think Social Security and Medicare are?
