Welcome To His Life part VII
Welcome To My Life Part Seven

The smell of the jail cell smelled horrible. As I sat on the wooden bench I could see the chains coming out of the walls that held it up. A woman came to my cell and unlocked the door. She cuffed my hands and motioned me to follow her. I followed while looking left and right at the people sitting in there cells. A man gave me thumbs up. I kept walking behind the woman and we entered the court. I took my place behind the stand and court started.
The judge ordered that I go on probation and by school rules I was being transferred. Six months of probation didn’t seem that bad anyway. Transferring to another school probably meant moving because I new my mom didn’t have enough money to pay intuition. They weren’t sure what school I was going to have to go to. They told my mom they would have decided what school I was being sentenced to by the end of the school year.
As we left the jail my mom, Wayne, and me got in the tracker. Wayne and my mom were discussing how they would move and what would happen. My mom was sure fire flipping. I sat in the back seat as quiet as possible. My mom looked at me from the front seat of the car and said, “We have to move because of you. My son is determining if I move. My life is flipping upside down Wayne!” I looked at her like I had no idea what to do. Wayne looked at my mom saying, “Its okay, we can start off fresh. We can finally have a family. I’m sure they have a firemen service down there where I can pursue my dream of putting out fires. You can get a new better job to or just keep this one. And you know what? I’ll use my extra money I get when I quit to buy ourselves a big plasma screen TV that all of us can enjoy.” My mom smiled at the sound of a big screen TV. It’s probably the only thing in that conversation that made her lighten up. My mom didn’t say anything back but she did nod. Then she came up saying, “What about Tyler and Brooke? And you know Junior already wants to live with us but he can’t go to any schools but Boces.” Wayne then said, “Tyler and Brooke can go to the same school as Eric and Junior can get bus rides to Boces like all the Boces kids in that area.” Then my mom nodded again and they quit talking. I was busy searching my jacket for something to entertain me.
When we got home Wayne made the announcement to Brooke and Tyler about there move. He told them about how it’ll be good for the whole family and everyone will have the chance to get better grades in school and make up for bad decisions(as he looked at me.) Brooke was practically bouncing off the walls in excitement. Brooke was 10 years old and didn’t have too many friends so it wouldn’t be a big deal for her. Tyler was a fat 12 year old with no friends at all so it wouldn’t bother him either. Me, nothing I could do now. I had two friends but I’d have to move anyway so I guess I’d get over it.

It was June 2nd the day I was supposed to find out the school I was transferring to. An officer was informed last week to come to my house and tell me at 3:00 pm today. About a month and a half had gone by since my little, “stunt.” The sun was warm and heating my face as I sat there on the steps of my house. Even the wind was warm and my house was to hot to be in. I was sweating my butt off but it wasn’t all from the heat. Today would be the day where I would find out what school I’d have to make a horrible impression in. I wondered about finding a girlfriend, or girlfriends, having any guy friends, people hating me, how I should act, and everything else that came with that. By now it was about 2:30 pm and the thoughts in my head were killing me. This would be the 3rd school I’ve gone to because of my problems. I always swore to myself that I can change and so will my life but it never does and it hasn’t yet.
