Why is it so hard to stay mad?
Why is it so hard to stay mad at a pretty face? Yet, a not-so-pretty face I can go either way. I can have the best reason to be mad at a woman/girl, but if they have an attractive face--I cannot STAY mad(or upset or whatever emotion I am trying to hold with/against them). I tend to let the matter slide. But, then it doesn't get resolved, and I'm left frustrated beyond belief.
So, I am just curious does anyone else face this situation?
And, how do you handle it?

That's a great situation to be in. Why do you want to stay mad anyway? Let it slide, if it really needs to be resolved, you don't need to be mad to resolve it. I can't stay mad at anyone I care about, and it's wonderful. I did date a guy who could stay mad forever, he also had serious anger management issues, and eventually, he seemed like a monster to me. Don't be a monster, most things that get us riled up at first don't even matter in the long run. If it were really important, your anger wouldn't melt away so easily.

unresolved anger leads to pain and frustration. I can dissolve the anger but if there is no resolution to the problem of why the anger was there in the first place,it festers. I have found that trying to work out an anger issue with the person that I am angry with, only leads to more anger. That is so frustrating. So, most of the time i just say ok, lets agree to disagree and let it go at that.

How very sad that we are such shallow people. The pretty people get all the breaks.

You're right, it is difficult to stay mad at a pretty face. This is a downfall of humankind, and must be quashed before the pretty people start using it to their advantage.
I think it would help if you concentrate on the person behind the face, as it were. You are mad for a reason. Hold on to that, use that.

Because you have a habit of being shallow? I don't know. I don't experience staying mad at ugly people longer than I would prettier people.

I honestly think that is probably one of the craziest things i have evr heard. Quite Shallow. If I have an issue, I dont give a shit how pretty you are.. If something REALLY needs to be resolved, the person you are looking at will have nothing to do with it.
I can understand a personality type, someone who is just so rediculously sweet that you cant stay mad. maybe they come off slightly timid. who knows... but no, i have never found meself in this type of situation..
On the other hand, someone women just take advantage of a man that cares about them in the least. Who knows. We will never figure out the way of the world, until we are on the outside looking in.
