Do You Feel Suffocated By the World?

Survey Created by brainstormer

Do you ever feel suffocated by the world around you?  Do you feel the television(and what is on it), the internet, the necessity to earn money, work, school(homework), the temptations of shopping, friends, family, a relationship or any mix of the above taking over your life? It could be so strong that you find it hard to remember to breathe.

Are you overly stressed or depressed by what's around you?

Or, do you feel you have everything under control?

Too many mind boggling questions. Might as well kill myself than answer those complicated shit. I just pretend they don't exist.. that's life ^_^ pretentious.

This should be a blog. I have a firm policy that helps from being overwhelmed. I always say "no" before I even think about the request. True it is not a popular response but after a while they stop asking

No one has everything under control, we're programmed to be distracted by everyday life. The internet and all the nifty gadgets, what the celebrities are up to...all that is just to keep us from actually paying attention to the real world, and focusing on becoming strong individuals instead of little mindless worker bees. We're supposed to go to work, have children, eat unhealthy food, pay taxes, take meds, get sick, pay lots of insurance, and die poor. Sorry. That's just how it is, and until everyone stops and looks at it, and actually decides to put a stop to it, that's how it's all going to work forever and ever.
So, it's good to be suffocated, maybe people will stop and try to figure out exactly why (I mean REALLY wonder) and what they're doing it all for.

I was going to hug you, burnt offerings, til you said it was good to be suffocated:P I wonder what it would take for people to come to their senses and break the "killing cycle". Put all those med. and insurance companies in their place. Get back to making what is needed, not excess with preservatives, etc.

I do feel suffocated sometimes. It is hard to breathe. I have removed myself of most of the distractions of city living. Earning a living is a question of how much rainfall, what is the market for our avocados this year. We live in a quiet rural area, no traffic, no sirens. We enjoy seeing the wildlife around us, as in wildflowers, wild animals, not wild drivers, wild parties. Though we can indulge if we choose to, just a half hour scenic drive away. It is a question of lifestyle for us. No, there are too many variables to feel totally in control in life.
