 Too Much Drama?
Too much drama? Is this what I am forced to hear every time a pretty face feels the need to cry out like Zsa Zsa Gabor "No pictures!"? Fame has become too much for them? And, so they are forced to go into hiding like groundhogs near the end of winter? Thus, it becomes almost impossible to communicate with them, regardless of their mood. And, then the day comes when they vow they are leaving this all behind. Like catching a glimpse of the last unicorn, I am forced to drop my jaw and wonder if I could have stopped it...stopped the drama...stopped the "unicorn" from wanting to leave me alone in this world forever wanting.

I'm tired of this phenomena or whatever you want to call it.

A word of advice to all the lovely ladies in this world(young and old). Don't publicize your picture/s. Save them for showing face to those you communicate privately. Be more like the women of the Middle East and less like Marilyn Monroe. But, leave your profiles open so that good people may contact you more easily. You will be more appreciated for your minds than your boobs.

If you have any doubts about all this, ask someone like EasytoSay(or DifficultSoul who reigned once "long" before her) how she has lasted here as long as she has and survived the fame without succumbing to "drama".

Thank you.

I..... for one, don't do drama! There is enough of that in real life! :)

Well, you seem to dodge it rather well like a good Virgobra. Whether you ride those waves with those suffering or not is the question. If you bail on someone you care for/about when "drama" ensues, you don't seem like a good friend.

Awwww come on Stormy..... I say what I have to say, when I need to say it, when I want to say it and when it is called for. Simple. I don't bail on my friends either! :)

Posh Kate, I like the present avatar of you looking like either a door saleswoman or a cheerleader with a really short skirt and no team spirit:P

HUGS to you both.

We are "tough ol' birds":P We don't bend like Beckham to drama.

I don't do drama if I can help it. I just forgive people. I don't see the point arguing with people, or pointing out faults, just not who I am. And when people point out my faults, or attempt to start something with me, I just reflect on the 'why' and see where I could be a better person.

/shrugs, I'm a weirdo, I know

Brainstormer,

I don't do drama, either, most of the time. I have more trouble with other people's drama than with any of my own. I am like Heather, I just forgive and forget. If I didn't, I would just be playing into other people's need for control. Been there, done that, don't wanna play no more.

Now, I tend my own business, help anyone I can, and try to recognize the ones that I can't (when that happens, I say a prayer for them, and leave it to the ONE who can always help).

See ya later, and here are hugs for you -------------------------------- Shea

I dislike drama, and whenever it rears it's head I want to duck behind something and wait out the storm. Seems it is everywhere these days, however, and no matter where you go it will follow.

I don't put pictures up of myself. I would rather someone admire me for who I am with the words I write than because of what I look like. I might get more profile views with an angled picture of my chest, but that is the kind of attention I don't want, and the kind of people I stay away from

Thanks for the nice words, Shea:)

Awe, Night Dreamer...are you tipping me off to some detail about yourself?:P Whispers...hints of an intoxicating fragrance. I know too many like you who wish to avoid such attention...and, yet, some still accept it if just to get attention at all. I'm glad that you put words first here, at least.

Should I put a picture of myself up, how would I know people are reading what I write? Would they come for my words or for my face. Everyone wants to be seen as beautiful, but beauty is found both inside and out. Since this is a website dedicated to writing, I chose to show the inner beauty, and let the words come from my heart. This is what I want to project. Should I wish to project just the outside, I would be found on any number of those dating websites. That is attention I do not wish, for I am more than what is seen on the outside

You need not continue with this speech, miss Night Dreamer:P Your point--my point as well--was made. We need not show our faces for we want to be heard and understood--as well as embraced and loved.

Anything else you may discuss with me privately:)
