I figure since influx wrote about kissing(and I am sure others have written about other bodily or cleanliness or sexual functions), I'd write a lil ditty about a "fascinating" phenomena I have discovered regarding the shower
Now, this may not seem ground-breaking. It might make your skin crawl. It might make you say "ew!". But, I have unraveled a strange twist of fate based on how I bathe.
Normally, if I didn't shower in high school one night, someone might say something the next day. Especially if I had gym class or a really nerve-biting day that made me break a sweat(usually any day I ran into an attractive girl ). It wasn't life-shattering. But, occasionally someone would whisper, "Psst. Dude. Did you forget to shower last night?" Horrifying, no?
But, recently, this situation has reversed itself. It is almost Twilight Zone worthy.
I have found that on days after I miss a shower, people treat me more nicely! And, they approach me more often without reproach! I feel like crap. My skin is likely crawling , and I am itching my back. And, yet, people are responding to me as if I sprayed myself with some sort of magical Axe product. Weird, ay?
Now, on the flipside, the days after I shower, people have NOT been so nice and seem to fear I will have an adverse reaction.
Like today. I felt fresh. And, yet, people acted as if I was some homicidal maniac or predator. They were afraid to speak and thought I was not friendly at all. I could see it. Felt it. I might as well have been covered with acid sweat or spiked skin.
And, despite the fact, I myself was not feeling so hot. Now, that's got me thinking, too. How is it not getting a shower in leaves me feeling worse? It is as if, when I shower, I wash away all my self-assurance, comfort and confidence. I lose some sort of aura and feel naked though I am fully clothed. Explain that.
So, don't start gossiping that brainstormer doesn't shower like a normal person. Though, could I stop you if you did? I'm just sharing a strange recent experience. Talks amongst yourselves:P I'll give you a topic. Duran Duran is neither a Duran nor a Duran...discuss.
