Silly me.
[Remember that previous post about being stuck behind the screen?
www.thoughts.com/brainstormer/blog/always-behind-the-tv-scre en-always-on-the-phone-91375/]
How silly all of this really is.
To have no control yet be affected by something read here.
And, even if I could say the right thing,
often times
I don't.
And, it royally sucks to say the wrong thing.
To be misunderstood.
To cast the wrong mood in someone.
How silly.
One day you are having an amazing chat with someone.
The next, you are ready to pull your hair out
because something just went terribly wrong.
Or maybe you click with someone you clearly have
no business clicking with.
For one reason, they are not right down the street.
So, you can't just run to meet them.
And,
either they already have a love of their life....
How strange is it to click with someone
who already is involved with someone.
You wouldn't want to be the one to cause a breakup.
And, unless you swing that way,
you wouldn't want to play with fire just for "fun" sake.
Or--just when you think you might get closer to them--
they meet someone else and can't wait to tell everyone.
And, you have no control.
Nothing you can do.
Little likely you can say
without forceably being "gentleman-like"
or "jaded" in some way(not jealous...but possessive, maybe).
And, lest I forget the frequent occurence in my life of making peace or friendship with someone(even if previously an "enemy"),
and then finding them reverting back to being
a person I wish I had never even shared a smile with
much less lent a hand or done a favor.
[A particular Wizard and his Way With Words With a Wry Witt Wanders into mind.]
But, isn't it just silly?
I mean,
it's just words on a screen.
If we walk away,
nothing in our lives is different
but the time we have lost typing and reading.
Still, what a waste.
How silly of us to keep thinking.
To keep trying without really trying.
And, then have these feelings of despair, dismay or regret.
When will we learn
or when will any of this
actually amount to something worthwhile and tangible?
[I can just hear all the fingers waving in objection.
The herd of responses countering or telling me to take action.
It wouldn't even surprise me if a few people took these words
the wrong way and felt shocked, hurt or upset.]

You probably get this all the time, but I know what it's like to wear your heart on your sleeve, to care for and love people you've never met, and I know how hurtful it is when it all goes sour...
but I really believe it is worth a lot, and it really does help people :)
I also agree with missmarie :) it's not at all silly :)
good luck :) you'll find someone eventually, promise 8D
