[A "Keep Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis re-write with a generous dose of brainstormer and an online writing theme.] Closed off from life. I don't need the stress. Once or twice is enough. I don't need the mess. Time passes away. Before you know, it's all gone.
But, something happened then. For thefirst time I could speak. My heart out on a screen.
A place for "shit of the week". And, everyone outside is looking Thinking I'm going crazy.
But, I don't care what they say. I'm gonna do what I do. They try to pull me away. But, they don't know the truth.
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep closing. They cut me open, and I...
Keep bleeding.
Keep, keep bleeding online(in blog). I keep bleeding.
I keep, keep bleeding online(in blog). Keep bleeding.
Keep, keep bleeding online(in blog).
They cut me open...
Trying hard not to hear,
But, they all talk so loud. Their screeching floods my ears. Trying to fill me with doubt. Yet, I refuse to quit.
Cuz I need the release.
But, nothing does the job
That a hug or shoulder replace. And, in this world of escape. I don't see a face. And, everyone I find here
Is in the same kind of mess; it's crazy.
Maybe, maybe...
But, I don't care what you say.
I'm hooked on this stuff.
You try to push me away. But, you don't know enough. My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing.
You cut me open, and I...
Keep bleeding.
Keep, keep bleeding online(in blog). I keep bleeding.
I keep, keep bleeding online(in blog). Keep bleeding.
Keep, keep bleeding online(in blog). You cut me open...
And, it's draining all of me. Some find it hard to believe. That I share all my heart.
Here and not on my sleeve.
I don't care what they say.
I'm on a mission of peace.
Others throw heaven away. But, that they do as they please. My heart's crippled by words. I keep it closed to them.
They cut me open, and I...
Keep bleeding.
Keep, keep bleeding online(in blog). I keep bleeding.
I keep, keep bleeding online(in blog). Keep bleeding.
Keep, keep bleeding online(in blog). You cut me open, and I...
I am catching up on my reading and just saw this one and I don't know if it's the mojito or the colors, but the read and blue on the black background had a 3-D effect or something. Anyway, I didn't care for the song but now I'll be able to tolerate it thinking about your blog. Cool turn of a phrase, brainstormer.
Not sure what a mojito is at the moment, but I realize red and blue DO make up the 3D effect(as the glasses display):P
But, what is so terrible about this song??:P I'm a lil "jaded" about the whole "Idol" fame thing and Simon to go along with it, but after hearing this song a few times, I actually felt inspired. Inspired to rewrite this for one. Is it just the concept of cutting and bleeding that is offensive? Or is it just being played way too often on the radio? I know that second factor can often ruin a song for me. Namely one or two by Linkin Park(perhaps my favorite band of late) which are not their best by far. I'd hate to lose my interest:P Foo Fighters, too. Sometimes they fight/rock; sometimes they foo/throw poo.
Just added a YouTube video clip from "So You Think You Can Dance" with the song. It's a bit long because it includes about 3 minutes of rehearsal/review before and post commentary after the dance.
