There comes a time when something gets to me.
Maybe it is an emotional matter.
Maybe I have no one I feel can help me or with whom I trust.
Maybe I don't know what to do/say
and see no solution here.

Or maybe it is a technical problem.
[Afterall, this IS a computer based system...ya know?]
Computers suddenly stop working.
Servers don't cooperate.
ISP's fail to start up/connect.
It's a rather fragile system.
A terrible source of life support.
And, when I am unable to get back to my "work" here,
I often get rather short of breath.

But, you,
those who are dying for something to read/comment
upon or talk to someone like myself,
may not understand all that and think I have
turned on you or given up.
I would like to believe in people
and trust there will be sympathy and understanding.
But, maybe it is a foolish hope of mine
that keeps me alive.
Because, so often, I do NOT find understanding.
Instead I find people in disagreement
--sometimes FIERCE disagreement--
or indifference/ignorance.
And, then I often find myself in "court" defending myself
just so I can partake in something as simple
as breathing clean air
or having a pleasant, intelligent conversation
rather than talk slanderous gossip and sexual escapades.

I just want anyone who reads this
and wonders what has happenned to me
to know that, unless I say so or am so severely hurt/upset
that I have no words left,
I have not given up here.
I have already faced two computer upsets since I started here.
I missed out on the changes and holidays of 2007.
I also have faced a few minor upsets here from either others' words
or the results of my own.
I would appreciate some understanding in the matter.
And, not expectations for me to perform to some apex
you may set for me in your time of personal need
for satisfaction/contentment.
I may be a good writer. I may be a funny guy.
But, I am not here to entertain everyone.
[Especially not with personal matters.]
Not for nothing.
Not to sound greedy or selfish,
but I(and many of you) should see my(your) time
as more valuable than that.
I came here to practice/showcase my movie reviews.
I ended up doing considerably more.
But, I must not live on here.

But, in case of emergency,
know that I have and continue to do what I can/must.
And, unless I say so
or you have upset me badly enough
or action has been taken against me for some likely senseless reason,
I have not left permanently.
I can only hope that mental, physical and computer
health remain in the plus column.

If by some inexplainable means I DO vanish,
carry on with my words taken to heart.
Take the good and spread it around.
Take the "bad", or critical, and make the best of it.
Try to learn something(not simply get angry).
Be good to your brains, hearts and bodies and those of others.
Try to honor the Golden Rule.

Be excellent to each other(bluntly honest if you must)
and...

Keep writing, dudes and dudettes!:P

[I think it would be a good idea for all of us here to make an "In Case of Emergency" post so as to not worry about people thinking you have vanished if away a short time. That way we don't have to see a hundred "I haven't vanished completely" posts(just as I see so many "blah...don't know what to say but I have to say something" posts). It just seems like a waste of time/energy/breath to repeat some things sometimes.]
