| Hey! It is a very insightful composition. I liked the first picture most - full of tranquility in the twilight. The second picture has a great significance - it depicts a sea of perhaps just misunderstandings and complications that separate them; but there seems to be no way to swim through that and reach them, leaving you lonely. But I didn't understand the 'Your own talent being used against you' part. What do you exactly mean by that? |

You paint a very telling picture of the human "romance" syndrome.
Nice. |

Sometimes in life, the sad picture of separation with the love one is very real and sad... but remember, not all love and relationship ends this way......
Beautiful entry..... |

there is no sense or logic in goodbye, for whatever reason, when you care for someone.
Using something beautiful against someone you used to love is a good way at hiding pain and transfer it to someone who is already feeling that same pain
nice post
P.s, can i suggest you set your links to open in a new window honey x |

| Ahhh, brainstormer, you are one of the reasons I have no expectations regarding the writing contest. And don't even tell me you didn't enter. |

I think you ladies missed the boat:P I blame Aphrodite up there:P She started it with her End a Friendship post:P kidding.
DS, you are going to have to explain that one to me. Maybe return your emails/calls:P
Gwat, I was not talking about how to paint/draw a picture after losing someone. I said drawing their picture when I am still with them or interested in them seems to push them away or causes some strange parting event to take place.
missmarie, the woman with the ever changing picture and sexual expert:P, I dont know where you were going. But, I wasn't using my "beautiful" art against anyone. Nor is anyone using it against me. I said it caused a rift in the "relationship". It makes no sense, really. Why would honoring someone in a picture cause two people to fall out?
Especially if the subject liked the picture.
circe, believe it or not. I have not entered the contest for the reason I stated. And, this is hardly a contest worthy post:P...wait, was it at least 300 words? Awww:(...:P |

Well then i don't know
i know you like it when i admit that i don't get it lol
you did say 'your own tallent being used against you'
Perhaps the person who was painted thought that they didn't deserve the honour, that it signified changing feelings, that perhaps the artist thought more of the subject than the subject thought of the artist.
Grand gestures can frighten people, its sad really, its like not being able to take a compliment but on a grander scale x |
