| Halloween Hero Costume Party--who's interested?
|
|
|
It's about that time of year. Some will be hosting and/or attending costume parties. Young or old, I think it's one time of year age shouldn't make a difference. We should all feel free to wear a costume without public scoffing or ridicule. At Christmas(for those who celebrate the act of gift giving), we exchange presents regardless of age. So...I would like to have a costume party WITHOUT the usual and modern crappy costumes. No monsters, no horrors, no sluts, no cross-breeds/genders, no sexual/anatomical/fecal jokes. Is that possible? If so, I ask you...
1)If you could come(preferably as a super hero or heroine), who/what would you come as AND why?
2)If treated to some candy/treats, what would be your treat of preference?
If you have ever thought of yourself as a hero...ever want to be a hero...or just like dressing up and pretending(and like this idea of a hero costume party), there's at least one Yahoo club you may join that fits the bill but seems quite lagging in membership/support(probably due to name confusion). What suggestions might you have to make it more lively? What could you contribute?

Have a happy and safe Halloween, Dia De Los Muertos, or whatever you may celebrate with costumed spirit.

Well, I guess no one was interested in either the questions or the idea of the party/club this year of 2007. Perhaps next year will be of better luck for the heroes out there. Once more I pack up my Spidey suit.

I'm playing catch-up and reading your old posts. The best and funniest costume (even though not so much a super hero) was someone dressed as Nacho Libre. It was just the best ever. I suppose every girl dreams of being Wonder Woman, but alas, my legs aren't 36" long like Linda Carters. Anyway, Spiderman and Wolverine have always been my favorite male super heroes and I think Storm is my favorite female super hero.

Interesting how you know her leg length:P:D How is that? How long ARE your legs then?:P(how tall are ya) Though you didn't actually answer the questions...I assume if Storm is your favorite(you seem to have a common XMen slant), you would dress as her at my costume party?

Sure I would. I might even bleach my hair platinum for the occasion. As far as my Linda Carter knowledge, what Jr. High girl didn't wanna look like her? At the time she and Farrah were who we all wanted to look like. Alas, I'm 6" shorter than Linda.

I'd come as Sailor Moon, and you could be Darian, brainstormer. Catch my drift? My treat of preference would be butterscotch, if you're feeding it to me, sweetheart.

Hmm, teacher cwazy, help me with the math again:P How tall are you? and her?
I forget how old you are--if we discussed it--but I'll admit, as a kid, I had my obsession with WW and Farrah. To think a 7 or 10 yr old could have such feelings while the rest of his class still thought girls had cooties:P
DON'T bleach your hair. The more you mess with your hair color, the worse it gets. Just get a wig, if necessary.
Kaiba...uh...HOCHIMAMA! Phew! Down, girl! Down!:P Where is all this coming from? Don't mess with the brainstormer:D Granted SM and Darian make a cute couple...but her costume stinks. [I hate those Japanese school/sailor girl outfits when they have the giant bows on the front. And, the earrings make me retch.]
Butterscotch, ay? I'll keep that in mind...unless an innuendo is attached. Then, my stomach would reject butterscotch and probably food in general:P Don't cross food with lust.
