Among all the compulsions to be or feel a bit strange, I find myself having some unusual visions or daydreams. I'm putting myself in the pressure cooker, sitting myself on the "hotseat", for this one.

For instance, when you've spent some time working in the shoe department of a department store(feeling like Al Bundy), maybe you start to see things. [This is an awkward expose/confession.] This is no celebrity-stuffed Macy's commercial. I've never been a shoe person. I never understood(and maybe still don't) why some women obsess about shopping so often for shoes. That was before I had to work with them. [And, yet, I still get sick to my stomach when I see or hear about any woman buying "tons" of shoes(purses or just about anything, for that matter).] For me, when I look at women's shoes, I tend to picture women IN them. And, sometimes, it just takes off from there:P When I picture these women, I see their feet, legs, figure, hair, outfit...the whole package. I see them in (fantasy) scenes. Which truly brings me to the question. 

But, when I think of people with foot or shoe fetishes, I picture someone who likes to suck toes or drink out of shoes. I am disgusted by both of those ideas.

I could easily be a women's shoe fashion critic(not sure about being a shoe designer) or a fashion designer/coordinator(probably one of the first who is straight and with good taste?). I feel like I completely understand the balance of style and function/comfort.

So, I'm asking you, the readers, do I have a foot--or rather a shoe--fetish?

While I'm stewing the grey matter and exposing the pores, here's another juicy lil tidbit for ya. Call me crazy(please don't:P), but when I see a young mother(with or without the husband/father nearby) with her child in a stroller, I often find myself imagining the mother(again, with/without the husband/father) in sexual situations...THE sexual situation...which resulted in the procreation of said child. It comes on, just like the shoe visions, in a flash of light and darkness. A brief second or two. But, clear as day. What do you make of that? Anyone else experience this?
