That is a friggin' hot mess. I don't think I'd be so kind to visit or talk to all these people. My family has been so detached so long...it blows my mind to think of families with grandkids, etc. I just don't know that social life.
I don't understand how you have a divorced birth dad who...

Sounds like you have an optimistic outlook...so it can't be all that bad. I wonder what the difference is between the present and your sought after happiness and why that exists if you say you are holding yourself well and not worried about peer pressure.

Ugh, sounds like me...and I hate myself like an overweight person who realizes they are just eating all day later.
My skin crawls, and my head aches. Hope things improve for us both soon.
