What's nice about cats is that most I have known dont require much care:P They tend themselves and dont ruin the house when they can't get out. And, so much quieter!:P
But, yes, dogs can be very loveable...just bigger messes:P

Hmm, well, the older they get--just like some people--the worse their eyesight can get. That might have been part of it. Second, they don't come to YOU:P YOU go to them. And, yes, the first reaction is most often "SQUEAK!SQUEAK! What do you wan't with me?!" But, you pick them up, show them...
