 Beautiful Shame
A long, wide path perfect for a nice stroll through the park with plenty of open space, trees, a river and a sprinkle of birds and squirrels. See how the leaves and flower petals dance from the trees as the seasons change. No matter the season, it is always there if you are willing to walk it.

A not-so-wide path weaving through a forest of towering trees with plenty of privacy and potential for surprises. See how the sun smiles as it peeks through the gaps in the canopy as if playing a childish game. It is only available til the winter snow floods the area or the trees are cut down.

A sloped path up the side of a mountain or inactive volcano with plenty of challenge and change in the air. See how the landscape and your breathing change with every leg of the journey as you challenge yourself to climb higher. It might not be safe or even available later.

A small, old town littered with small houses, shops and cobblestone streets that echo with your footsteps. See the comforting difference from being among the cars and hustle of a big city. It is only a matter of time before modernization demolishes the tranquility(unless we preserve it).

A movie theater with big screens, soft seats and finely dressed walls. See how the light flashes over the surfaces and the sound surrounds you in the darkness and serenity(especially if it is a relatively empty theater). It will only be there as long as ticket sales and people who respect it keep it alive.

A spaceous mall with a wide array of shops but also a beautiful place to walk with plants, benches, soft seating areas and a grand sunroof. See how the sunlight warms the storefronts and casts shadows from the pushcarts in the middle. It too is only there for as long as people can keep it running and respect it.

An ancient stretch of land littered with ruins of what was once an awesome scene of pillars and stone steps with plenty of history and mystery. See the faces of the past and feel the energy around you. It is already in ruins, but it could all be gone in the blink of a lifetime.

A sunny day with just a handful of puffy mashed-potato clouds in a bright blue sky and a gentle breeze to stimulate the senses. See the shapes they make to inspire the mind. It is only a matter of time before the weather changes or the sun becomes too hot to bear.

A rain shower, whether a light sprinkle or a warm downpour, with murmurs and snaps of thunder and cracks of lightning(just enough to keep it exciting). See how nature paints itself in water colors. It will pass, but it may worth it to stay out too long. So, enjoy the moment.

Think of the moments that could be had. Think of the moments that could be shared. Think of the moments missed without having someone to share them. And, it's easy come; easy go as the days pass by. You really learn to appreciate companionship when you spend enough time alone. [Just as you crave solitude when you get tired of being too suffocated by people.] A beautiful shame.

Living in the moment and relishing every part of it is definitely what I'm doing these days. This is beautifully written.

You already know how to be soft! Why do you fight against beauty such as this now? It is not fun to be alone, but in moments like these there are the possibilities
