"Are christians supposed to be apathetic?" I don't think what you're talking about here is apathy. What you refer to as "not caring" is a natural response to want to guard your heart. I think you maybe question this for the same reasons that I came to realize that Myspace was a terrible place for me as well. I was using it constantly for affirmation- being curious about other people's lives so that I could compare them to my own, waiting for others to contact me or respond to me so that I could affirm that people needed me. I found this, as a Christian woman, to be very detrimental to my relationship with God. This sense of "caring" that you refer to is a selfish-type of caring. It's more of a curiosity-type care...not a Jesus-selfless-loving care. It's good that you feel more inclined to not want that selfish-caring. Just do your best to question your intentions with each move and to follow through on what God is asking you to do online. (posted in A little too much networking)
God will save you. He loves you very much. He treasures you over all of his creation. (posted in nothing)
That is awesome! I just started running and use it to spend time in meditation of my surroundings and talk to God. It's amazing how creatively He speaks to us when we are just willing to listen. God bless! (posted in Running In/With The Lord)
