I lived in Michigan for the first 23 years of my life, then moved to Vermont to serve as an AmeriCorps volunteer for a year, and now am residing in Boston. I wouldn't be here if one of my friends hadn't moved here for grad school- crazy the places where life takes me. Thank you, Caitlin Corless, for bringing me along on this adventure.

I'm a typical what-am-I-doing-with-my-life 20something, except that now I know that my career will be moving, ideally, in an editorial direction. That said, I am starting a blog.

Some random things about me: I chew a lot of gum, I like the color indigo, I'm a diehard MSU fan (my alma mater) and I prefer a spiral-bound paper datebook to a PDA.
