I can’t believe I’ve been living in Chicago for 6 months. Time has really passed me by.
Alright, so what’s been going on…
Well, I’m totally excited to go home for Spring break. I need some sun and warmth in my life. School isn’t so bad, keeping up with the readings, learning new things—absolutely love it. Although I’m dreading the papers and tests coming up after Spring break.
So I’m totally loving my existential class. I mean it’s a lot of my life philosophies so it’s great to read it in a academic perspective. And diversity class, I’m learning more about myself and things I didn’t know before. I never wanted to come off as a snob coming from CA and knowing everything about diversity. The fact of the matter is, sometimes the more diverse the less people feel it’s an issue to address. WRONG! There’s so many different layers to what diversity means- it’s not just race!
Alright gotta go to class… I’m so excited I get to see Don in two weeks!!!
