Do We Support Our Troops?
Based on the following, are we supporting our troops?
Fresno, Calif. AP - Forced to leave the combat zone after his two brothers died in the Iraq war, Army Spc. Jason Hubbard faced another battle once he returned home: The military cut off his family's health care, stopped his G.I. educational subsidies and wanted him to repay his sign-up bonus.
Washington (Reuters) - About 300,000 U.S. troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan suffer symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder or depression, but about half receive no care, an independent study said on Thursday.
(CBS) The public sees the economy as the number one priority for the government to address, and it far surpasses terrorism, war and other domestic concerns. The war in Iraq is now considered less of a concern than jobs. The welfare of our troops has taken a backseat to the loss of jobs and the falling dollar.

A soldier died and was brought in a hurst to be buried, they got stuck in a traffic jam because no-one would move aside!
A soldier came home and was attacked with stones, because the estate he lived on were mostly muslim. He was also muslim.
The health care in this country for soldiers is terible, a world warII hero has been left to die in an old peoples home because the government will not help.
The UK does not care for its soldiers, soldiers who fight long and hard for the government that does not respect them after they leave.
I will always buy a soldier a pint of beer, I was one myself at one time.

I support our troops but at the same time distrust our leaders. I know I will probably be attacked for saying that but it is true. I feel sorry for people that put their lives on the line for the rest of us believing what they are told they are fighting for. I also believe this is why military persons are taught to carry out orders without question or thought on what they are told to do.
I don't know what the answers are I just think everyone needs to wake up!
