let's recap
In my continued effort to make someone else view their life as a little nicer than they thought, here is a recap of my last two days.  Big breath in, and here we go........
Thursday- get up at 6:30, throw clothes and makeup on, fix hair, get Holly's (8yr old) hair fixed, go downstairs, pack lunches, finish the baked raspberry oatmeal (prepared the night before on time bake oven), get children up and eating, fix my breakfast (dieters breakfast), make bottle, feed baby and get her dressed, load up six children in van (two stay behind with daddy), drop four children off at school, take one to doctor  with swollen gland for blood work, take the the other to a well child exam, go home so husband can leave for work, bath three little girls, fix lunch, feed four children, take one more to school, put three children down for naps, start fixing extra special dinner and dessert (snow pudding with vanilla custard, honey butter to go with oatmeal raisin muffins, baked chicken breast with morney sauce, and corn) sit down for 20 minutes, get children up, coats/boots on, back in van, pick up three children (one stays for basketball), give children snacks, feed baby, continue working on dinner, go pick up daughter from practice, help with homework while two younger ones scream, serve dinner, wash the big dishes so another child can finish washing everything else, read with children, brush teeth, put children to bed, get lunches ready for Friday, watch ER, check on children, have trouble getting to sleep, fall asleep early Friday.
Friday- wake up at 6:30 (after five hours sleep), find out school is closed because of snow, deal with annoying two year old, get children eating breakfast, feed baby, go to town to get brake parts for husband's car (which is waiting to be put back together), go to Rite Aid (for freebies), come home, talk with husband for a few minutes, give instructions to oldest daughter who was going to babysit while I ran some errands, take two children who needed some specifics things, go to four different stores, come home, feed them lunch, take oldest daughter out to lunch at Subway to thank her for helping, come home, clean up messes from morning, figure out dinner, leave with two boys to bring them to a friends house for sleepover, go home, welcome oldest daughter's friend who is sleeping over, feed children dinner, feed husband dinner when he gets home, deal with "issues" from oldest daughter, put little ones to bed, sit down and stare .

Big breath in...... I am sure I forgot somethings, but that gives you an idea of what you might be doing if you had eight children.  Enjoy the blessing of peace and quiet and having the time to read or help people in need at your pace.  And think, I didn't even write about today.  I am going to sit down now, for some reason I am slightly tired.
Good Bye for now.
