Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton in '08!
I was researching the Presidential candidates and I took this quiz that tells you which candidate you're most compatible with (Hillary 81% and then Barack 79%) it was really nifty, i'll post the link at the bottom in case you want to take it. I think it's a really useful site because a lot of young people today don't know the issues and don't know which candidates feel how they feel and how closely to the candidates their views run.. There were a few issues in which I didn't agree with Hillary OR Barack but that was really just one part of one issue, which falls into homosexual rights. (I believe they should be allowed marital rights and they both only believe in giving homosexuals rights to strong civil unions)

But pretty much whoever gets the democratic ticket is who i'm voting for (wouldn't it be great if the winner took the other on as their running mate??)

I read somewhere that the youth of my generation have been so involved in this election, it's reminiscent of the political action of the youth of the sixties.  That makes me so happy.  I wish so much that we could be as politically active as those people were, I just wish I lived in the sixties and seventies in general.  I just wanted to do this blog because I know a lot of young people are on here and I just want to encourage you to get involved and to be informed.  Don't go with who your parents are voting for, and never, EVER vote straight ticket!!!

So go take this quiz and research any terms you don't know! I want to get back to those good ol' rallying days and peace marches!

peace and love
B

I looked into which presidential canidates were for same sex marriage (that's an issue I feel strongly about as well) and almost no one is for it. I think there were two people out of ALL those running (democrats and republicans). It's sad. But I'd rather have a canidate that is for civil unions than against both marriage and civil unions.
