 Apathy
First off sincerest of apologies for the delay but one must address more crucial existence issues before reflecting on said reality.
One particular issue raised lately is that of apathy. Though the concept may be perceived as an ugly one, it can in fact be perceived in a different light; one that is quite applicable to relevant concepts. Through recently being criticized for such a feeling, one might contemplate the mentality bestowed by such a concept. Many associate such an attitude with being unsuccessful and while it may apply, it can also be quite crucial to success itself.
Truly concern is quite important in success to a certain level which is the contradictory sense that bastardizes said apathy. This concept can relate to overall perception of another based purely on the sense that is sight and might apply to other notions as well. While certain things such as hairstyle can hold some importance, a certain obsession or fixation can lead to distraction from more important ideals. If all individuals in power spent so much time on aspects such as appearance, they would in fact be inept in addressing matters of importance. Even if said matters are simply those of current events.
Furthermore minor matters such as those based on an optical perspective should not be considered in order to achieve a goal. For such vanity is what keeps influence and power from those who may truly deserve it. Thusly apathy does not distract from being well informed and focused on matters of importance; but furthermore if one in power is more focused on one’s vanity, the individual has deviated from the importance of reality regardless of the topic albeit in regards to one’s self or a given or adopted responsibility.
Even further removed from that, not just the concept of vanity but from that which can be applied to philosophical and political issues. For when considering a conflict many may find themselves immersed in the causation oppose to potential resolutions. And while causation can be greatly important, the concept does not always apply to the resolution and can often lead to distraction. In cases such as this, apathy is not held in incompetence but as a device employed to promote focus. Perhaps issues as stated are why certain concepts such as those political in nature, become harder to dissolve.
