These are shots from a new theme park being developed by Chinese Government in Yunnan. In order to develop a green grass carpet, the ground is prepared grass sown and overlaid with PP Non woven. The fabric is typically 17 - 25 gsm fabric and is speard over a large area. It is felt that the fabric helps in retaining moisture and prevents weeds as it protects the surface from flying seeds. Watering is typically done over this fabric.
