| Love/Crushes Sucks. |
What is so special about the four letter word love?
Or a crush? Those two words can either hold great misery or great happiness.
Happiness comes when there is another who shares your feelings.
Misery arrives either before or possibly soon after, whether someone does not feel the same way or no longer does.
SOO, what happens when you feel both at the same time?
I feel like venting.
There's this.. guy, obviously.
He's pretty amazing, funny & not hot, but pretty cute (:
I met him through a friend of mine with two others, another guy and a girl.
They're equally intense.
So, after we meet for the first time, I was thinking he's pretty chill.
That night, I get a text.
He's saying stuff like 'fun meeting you, hope you enjoyed the movie.'
So that started a conversation that lasted for practically a week with the occassionally hourly break & of course, school.
Of course, he flirted with me every now & then, but it was flirting.. & it was very kind.
Not brash, I-WANT-TO-DO-YOU flirting.
I guess that's when I started to like him.
Finals came, we didn't talk the week before them.
I figured that OH, he's a typical guy who just flirts for fun with any girl.
But then he texted me again.
We arranged a movie group & went to see something, I forget what.
Sometimes I caught him staring at me.. but I knew that I was seeing things.
I mean come on, me? Not the prettiest in my opinion.
So we would text on & off & he continued to flirt.
A couple of more movie groups & I realize,
WOAHH. I like this guy.
But I'm good at not showing it, I hope.
So my friend decided to ask him whether he liked anyone.
She told me.. he said yes & admitted it was me.
I mean, he can be straightforward, but shouldn't I be suspicious?
I want to believe it but I've been hurt in relationships before.
So I'm stuck between misery & happiness.
Happiness that he just MAY have the same feelings.
Misery that it's probably not true.
Yeah, love/crushes suck.
