Most people say that high school was awful and they couldn't wait to get out. I for one, miss it a lot. Of course there were things that sucked so much about it, but it's the small things I miss.
This was my high school.
Lame to most I'm sure.
It smelled so weird. I'm sure if I smelled it now, it would smell familar and I'm sure it would take me back to the nervous feelings I would feel by my locker or how walking to each class would feel.
When I was in high school it was back when cell phones were new. Most people didn't even have them yet, and if they did, it was only used for emergencies. My first cell phone was a Nokia and it was seriously a brick. I miss the time where there was no myspace, facebook, and no texting. I was disconnected from anything dealing with computers or phones and I was amazingly happy. It seems now getting online and checking all my online network sites just depresses me. It seems like there are so many fake friendships and people use the sites to hurt people. Like if you are friends with someone on myspace and you get into a fight or you haven't been talking as much, they just up and delete you. I think when people delete people on those sites, it's just a way of saying "F- off bitchface." I just don't delete anyone because I don't want to make anyone feel bad.
I bitch about those sites, but yet I don't dare not have one. It's pretty messed up. I'm bitching about technology as I write a blog. There is something wrong with that.
I think I am for sure a person who would be totally happy disapearing to a random cabin the mountains or some far away island. I could totally start my own fires and eat berries.
This blog was pointless.
I'm just getting warmed up.

So, where did George fit into all that?:P did I miss something? I like everything you had to say here:) I can totally relate. Though, I am surprised you didnt have the internet and cell phones when you were there. You are years younger than me, and I know the internet kicked in big time after I was out. Maybe cell phones came later still? But, everything you said--minus maybe the smell--I could relate.
