i never needed braces.. But hopefully they will be worth it in the end. Try not to be embarrassed about them. Anyone who would actually judge you by the fact that you have braces isn't worth being friends with anyway. x

thats true huh! well its just that most of my friends are dudes and they probably wont like me cause i have braces and that would really suck because then most of my friends would think that im ugly! well that is a good poin that if any of my friends make fun of me then they arent worth being friends with!

I really do not have any life changing words of wisdome. The kids are going to be cruel and the braces are going to hurt. But... when the braces come off in a year, your teeth will be straight... you will love your smile... and a smile is one of the most loving and contagious things. Don't let it ruin your year... think about it as being just as we all are a work in progress... this will help you be a stronger person once it is over... and when you are not so strong you have us.

thanx now i think that when i go to school i flawent that i have braces and i will be myself just with a little difference! Also if people dont like my braces thats thier problem! I will go to school tomarrow with a huge smile and i will flawent that i ave braces and make it a positive about my year instead of a negative! thanx!

there are going to be alot of things in life like this... your going to hear adults and your friends say something over and over that will make you feel good and confuse you. People are going to tell you to just be who you are... and sometimes you are going to be upset because you do not know who you are. And you may think it's just you. But it is not... there are alot of adults still trying to find out who they are. So just be happy... and with it most things will be better.

well I can't say it better than Doug. really if the friends you have are true, it won't matter about the braces, actually they'd LIKE em, because they will make your smile more beautiful, making you only that much more beautiful.

Honestly, no one cares about braces. Unless you are giving head. Which you better not be doing. Because that only leads to trouble and you would rather be unpopular than a skank, trust me.

But picture it this way:

2 years from now you walk down the hall and see this really hot guy. He's checking you out and likes what he sees so you flash him a smile. It's the perfect smile. White, straight teeth, dazzling him into doing your bidding.

The pay out is worth the torment. Most definitely.

I thought the same thing when I got my braces. Don't worry there not that better and once you have them on for a longer period of time you forget u even have them.

I know i mean after all the advice I went to school and I flawnted them and now i sometime forget that even have them!

I don't have braces, because I like my teeth, but I've heard braces are definitely worth it if you want to have straight teeth.
