True friendship can be hard to grasp. I have a true friend, none like I have ever had before, and I am continuously learning about the ins and outs of friendship. Sometimes I find it so hard to keep it up and move forward within this relationship I share with another. And I often wonder if there is a line that is not to be crossed emotionally or otherwise, and if so, where is this line? I tell my friend I love her, that I have an emotional connection to her and I care about her to the point I would die for her. But I often think that by saying these things that I am crossing this line. Or perhaps I have created this line myself, as a safeguard against getting hurt.
I have moved around so much in my life so far, hardly staying in one place for longer than two years. And I have never had a problem making friends. It was keeping them. It is developing a strong friendship that’s pure and true. I have trouble grasping the idea that one person knows the real me, and my inner feelings.
Is it just something we learn as we grow, or is it all in the person you choose to make that very special friend? Or is it just because we are honest with each other and share majority of everything with each other that it has made a bond stronger than any material known to man?
This subject is one of the harder things I have written about. Perhaps because I am still learning what the meaning of a true friendship is, and what it involves. But I do know one thing, I am willing to hold onto this special friend of mine, as she is mine and no one can steal that away from me.
In conclusion, I believe that no person can evaluate what makes a perfect friendship, as we are all individuals. We all have different beliefs and values, so therefore we all decide what we call a pure and true friendship.

Friendship is different for each person, because we each require something different from each other, hence, the true essence of a friendship is hard to define.
There is on right or wrong in friendship nor is there such a thing as a time line for a friendship, some people come into our lives for such a short time, whilst others never leave and then still others come and go when they need to.
The best way to stay friends is just love, trust and accept and all will be good.
