I think you two have something between you two.
You should deffinitly tell him how you feel towards him. Yeah, it'll be awkward but at least you can say you tried right? And, what's so wrong with that?
You never know what he really thinks of you until you try. And maybe the other night he was just trying to get you to talk first. Maybe, he wanted you to tell him how you felt about him first so he could then tell you.

I think you should bring him out for a cup of coffee at starbucks or something and just be like, hey. I have answers for those questions you asked me last night.
You never know until you try. And right now, for all you know. You could benifit.
