 Death and Liberation
Well its been quite a week- Micheal Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays the pitchman ( i think this one touched me the most )

What about death brings people still living closer together?  - maybe we realize we need to love and celebrate and dance and enjoy each other in every moment that we can. I have had this epiphany recently myself - its called-

" WHY WAIT ? I am in my 40's :)"  Its called don't let a moment get by because there are NO ASSURANCES you will get that moment again- but I digress.....

What if we REFRAMED and looked at death as liberation ? Like they do in India.

This may not stop us from crying for our own losses but it will sure make us feel better about those we lose.  A long time ago in a meditation I had a vision of a blue spirit dancing on a rock, the other side, where we go when we return to source energy. It was truly a moment of bliss.
Let's celebrate LIFE whether or not someone dies. Lets wake up and be a fully expressed expression of life and love and not take any of too seriously. Really - we are all going to die- so let's try and make a positive contribution while we are here, love others as much as we can and leave a legacy of positive chance. Get up off the sofa - get into action, don't waste time judging, posturing or pointing fingers. Be part of the solution not the problem.

Then we can be liberated BEFORE we die.
Osho says we must die before we die. I have had that expierence and its quite freeing and very liberatiing. Blissful even.

Love & Light

Beth

Many people had to face sad facts last week. My husband and I just took in a female pit bull, Charli. We have had her for just over a week now. On Saturday, we took her and our other dog to a low cost vaccination clinic in San Antonio, and we found out Charli has heartworms. We had thought we were going to be fostering Charli, getting her socialized and ready for a new home. Now, she is very sick and we do not have the money for treatment or a space where she can recover (our 7-month-old puppy is enamored with Charli and plays with her constantly; we also have two cats that Charli loves to chase). It is such a long story how we got Charli that I can't include it here, but we don't have her through a foster program affiliated with a shelter. She was given to us by a friend. My point is that my husband and I were lying on the bed with Charli, just crying and wondering what we are going to do. At this moment, for some reason I thought, Beth Shaw! I am sorry if it is forward of me to write this comment on your blog, but I felt compelled to because I thought you would have some advice, maybe you know where we can get help. I have my 200-hr certification through YogaFit, so I knew you were an animal advocate. If you have any advice, will you please let me know? You can write to me at dogperson83@yahoo.com. Or you can write to me through these comments or thoughts.com, if that%u2019s possible, however you feel most comfortable.
