Hello, all! It's Friday night again and I'm here at the card shop supporting my boyfriend who will be playing a Magic tournament soon. Tonight, on top of the fact that he is a really good player, he has a really good deck, and I'm quite confident he'll make top 8, if not win.
I'm a little sad though. We used to go to the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday nights, and now it just seems like all we do is go to the card shop. I miss it a lot and I want to go...but he "needs" to win, whatever that means...*le sigh* I guess it shouldn't make much of a difference, because the last two times we went, we left early because we were so tired.
I guess I just miss it...because it used to be my thing, and it's just not anymore. I miss it....I guess I need to talk to him and just reinforce the idea of going once in a while...or at least, going by myself...all though, I wouldn't really want that.
Oh! And now for a fun story...on New Year's, my car got stolen. I actually woke up to a call telling me that they found it. I didn't even know that it was missing! It was kind of funny...they found it with the window completely busted out and running in an abandoned parking lot, and the ignition system is all screwed up. Minor damages, and my car's workable...I just have to carry around an orange screwdriver to turn it on and off. My dad's going to loan me the money to get it fixed, since our insurance sucks and won't cover the damages.
Oh well. It could have been worse. |
