Ok so I have a question and looking for answers or possible suggestions. My brother is 20 and is/has been dating someone who is under age for the past two and a half years. That isn't the problem. The problem is that she is very manipulative and uses, what I think is a made up mental illness to get him to cater to her every need and desire. First of all, she is always over at our house and she has not only one set of parents but two that she could be spending time with. I swear, I can't stand this girl at all. And to make things worse, my whole extended family thinks that she is just wonderful. GAG ME WITH A SPOON!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions on how to handle her unending presence?

well a start would be to talk to your brother about it. that usually helps some and he would be the one that could do something about it

I have already talked to him and of course he thinks that she is the best thing since sliced bread and hasn't done a damn thing about it.

Unfortunately sadgirl there is not much you can do about this and it is your brother's choice on who he wants to date. But who is to say that what he like today he will like tomorrow....dont give up the hope that she will be gone at one point in time from your lives. She sounds like a good manipulator of all around her.

You can't choose who your brother dates, and if you get between him and his girlfriend, he'll probably resent you. Even after he breaks up with her, he will probably resent you for it. Your best bet is to make amends with her or at least continue to be civil. Who knows, maybe the loony gal will find someone else soon! One can hope, right?
