Okay, so there was this guy that I had dated for a short time in the past but had been pressured into splitting up with by another guy. Well, after the break up, I didn't think much of it and stayed friends with the guy but never really feeling anything more than friendliness with him even though his friends would sometimes remind me that he just could not get over me. A year passes by and then he gets the news that him and his family are moving to a city about an hour away. It's the end of the semester and he throws a going away party of which I attend and it hits me that I actually still have feelings for him! What a time for it eh? So being the emotional person I am, I end up crying and I hug him and he leaves. A few months later we begin texting regularly and we both end up confessing that we wish that things would have worked out differently and that we could work things out, etc. I end up telling him about a guy I hooked up with over the summer and he tells me how he wishes that he could've been that guy because he misses me so much, etc. etc. So naturally, I am feeling incredible because of all the things he keeps telling me. Then out of nowhere, two days later mind you, when I tell him that I am going to be able to come up and see him, he says that he wants me to meet his girlfriend.......what?! what did I miss?? then, he doesn't know why i'm upset. hmm....are guys really this thick?! I could understand if a lot of time had elapsed between the "I am still not over you" phase and the "I want you to meet my girlfriend" phase, but there wasn't a time lapse! so after that we haven't talked as frequently but at least a few times a week. amazingly enough, he continues to update me on how things are between him and his gf and I know that I"m happy for him, because I know that he is happy, but I can't help but a feel a bit hurt at the same time. It makes me feel like a heel haha. But what's a girl to do? |

Okay, not to be mean or anything, but that text color and background combination just about blinded me. I highlighted over everything so I didn't need to read it like that.
As for your problem, though, it sounds like he wants to make you jealous. Does he really have a girlfriend, did you meet her? Sounds fishy to me...
