Night falls and darkness encloses us in it's silken rapture. Turn out the lights and lie down with me. Chase away these hauntings that linger from the day. Only in the darkened womb of the night, eyes open and blinded by light's absence, can I start to breathe again.
Don't leave me alone; not tonight. I am brittle as a china cup and sting as though cut. I am assaulted, confused and encumbered by the horrid realities that I paint for myself; of my own construction and of my own doing. Lie down with me and let me lose myself in you.
Draw close and let me cling to you while my soul flutters within my breast. Enfold me in your arms where evil cannot penetrate. Let your gentle perfume envelope and transfix my senses, transport and free me. Make the spirits that would destroy me stand at bay, wanton and powerless, as we two become one.
Look up.
Do you see the stars?
They are drawing closer.

I wish my perfume had that super power. Its called knowing...I guess my little bottle is just a little know it all, the one in your story last for eternity. Do they sell it at Norstoms?
