Bend until you break,
like a prisoner on a wheel.
Bend to my whim and will,
like a sapling to the wind.
Bend until you break.
Flurries of fists.
“I will always love you.”
Volleys of shouts.
“I will always love you.”
Bruises and whispered excuses.
Kneel and beg forgiveness,
like a parishioner at the cross.
Kneel and hold your tongue,
like the condemned in the cell.
Kneel and feel worthless.
I will always love you. |

I really like this, even if it is a little dark. It struck a chord with me, some of the sentiments ring true from past experiences.
You have a real talent, I'm glad I have discovered it.
Best wishes xxx :-)
