| tomatoes..fruits of the vine..

this year I seem to have a million young tomato plants which offered themselves from the old homemade compost bin I still use in an old country way..
they have grown so well since I transferred them to small pots that although some of them are only a foot or so high, they have already blossomed with the offering of little yellow flowers of tomato hope for the future..
small pointed yellow starlike blossoms promising a bright red juicy fruit call me out daily to see their progress..
tons of fruited vines then will be my existence this summer..seeking the glory of self-grown amongst the edible flowers and hoped-for-fruits of another summer's future preparing themselves in a timely wait of lengthy years and possibilities..
tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes..a summer of red delights in the garden of the home.
