View Blog  Erykah Badu in Greensboro (The Roots) Went to the Erykah Badu concert last night.  It started at 8pm and ended after midnight!  Well worth the money and only dull moment was the intermission.  The Roots were awesome.  The Greensboro Coliseum was the place to be.  The girl is deep, her show is one that everyone should see if they ever have the opportunity.  I hadn't been to a concert in awhile, so it was nice to get out and be an adult and not feel guilty afterwards.  We had floor seats so it was nice to be close to the stage.  Erykah was in the crowd singing and sharing the mic!  It was truly a performance, not just a concert. The Roots opened the show and performed for a little over an hour and they were nonstop.  They did some newer stuff and some classics.  It was hot!
