It seems that when old friends move on, whether it be a city thats near four hundred miles away, or to another country, i happen upon a new possible friend. Yesterday i went to a going away party for my absolute best friend. Though I had only known this friend for about 2 years, i feel extremely close to him. Everyone asks us if we are having sex, because we seem close enough to where, having sex would be appropriate. However, we are not, and i prefer that. Anyway, so yesterday at this party, there was a really cute guy who i have known for a while but we never get to hang out or talk. I dont know if there was a spark or any chemistry but i think i will try to in some way replace the friend thats leaving with the "new" friend. I dont know how that will work out, and i feel kind of like im cheating on my old friend by talking to this new friend. Especially since they are good friends. I dont know quite what ill do or how ill handle this situation. I dont feel near as sad as i did when i found out my other friend died in a car accident, it seems ok now, i've made amends and moved on so to speak. I'm just trying to keep it together and keep from crying before this friend leaves town, which is this weekend. so wish me luck with that (smile).
