Well I've noticed I can't always say the things I want to say in the real world so I'm hoping that by venting here it will help me speak up more often

I am not married and never have been, but it sounds like if things are as bad as you say then therapy is immediately necessary or unfortunately leaving him will probably improve your quality of life and the lives of your children. My aunt and uncle hate each other and it's obvious to the entire family and their daughter, but they stayed together for her sake. I think all three of them would've had a significantly better lives if they separated and found someone else who was a better fit for them. As I said I've never been married so I can only empathize. Good luck with everything, I would strongly recommend couples therapy as well as individual therapy for each of you. (posted in Why?)
I'm glad that you realized that they were using you and stood up for yourself. College can suck at first and it takes a little while to find your place but it will come. Personally I think sharing a room was one of the worst things. Also seriously congratulation on being open minded and realizing that it is possible to live with someone who is a lesbian and not worry about her raping you in your sleep. It is a really conceited thing for "M" to think that just because she is a girl she will be attracted to this other girl. Kudos for you! (posted in Welcome to the life of the popular)
I think it's a shame that people still expect this to be the case. Unfortunately women still have a far way to go. We live in a very androcentric society. (posted in The good wife's guide)
