the comfort zone is not good
KNOWLEDGE IS THE KEY TO HEALTH

Each emotion does something different in the body,
so different things happen when a coping mechanism applies in each case.
To give an illustration however, let us look at the worst case scenario.
Let us examine what happens when fear and a coping mechanism co-exist.
Fear means the body goes to maximum working capacity
and will remains at maximum capacity while the fear remains.
This means the heart and lungs work at maximum capacity,
the blood pressure is highest, the senses are heightened and so on..
Now let’s add a coping mechanism.
A coping mechanism is achieved through manipulating the breath
and it is HABIT so it is automatic.
As I said with an EMCM the breathing is made deeper,
With a greater amount of oxygen the body will work harder;
It makes the heart rate and blood pressure increase and so on.
So the person’s heart, which is already working at maximum capacity
is asked to work harder.
And the blood pressure which is already at its highest level,
is made even higher.
The heart in particular becomes over exerted, trying to work beyond its capacity.
***
With an LMCM the breathing is made shallower or held down,
This cuts back on the volume of air and hence oxygen intake.
It robs the body of the amount of oxygen it needs.
It tries to make the heart rate and hence the blood pressure to go down.
And remember there is fear, that doesn’t go away.
So the person’s heart which is asked to work at maximum capacity by fear,
It now asked to savagely cut back by the coping mechanism.
These are conflicting signals!
So the heart get signals to go fast and to go slow at the same time.
This means it becomes inefficient as a pump
so a backlog is created and blood begins to bank up in the veins.
***
If this situation continues for more than 15 or 20 minutes
both EMCM & LMCM create seriously adverse conditions in the body.
Heart attacks or heart failure can result under certain circumstances
which I will discuss later because it is vital information for you to know.
No amount of dieting or exercise can save you,
if you don’t know what you’re up against.
And remember it is not only fat people that suffer heart disease,
so do thin people.
Indeed some sports people and athletes,
whose health and hearts are in pristine condition
have dropped dead from a sudden heart attack.
How does that happen? Or more to the point, how is it done?
For those who want to see all the effects that can be brought about
by fear co-existing with a coping mechanism please read blog on
COPING MECHANISMS AND FEAR (I have kept the biology simple)
Otherwise to discover how circumstances can be made unclear
on a coming blog!
