Hello Lisa, God loves you and you are very important to Him, God has given us His word to tell us who we are in Christ, what we are in Christ, what we have in Christ, What we can do In Christ & through Christ. God has given us the precious Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. And Ephesians 5: 17 says, "Be not unwise, but understanding of what the will of the Lord is.
v18 says, Be not drunk with wine, but be filled with the Spirit.
notice, Being filled with the Holy Spirit is likened to being drunk, being so full of God will cause you to understand the will, plan and perpose of God for your life.
Also when you are full of the Holy Spirit, You will make a difference in this world, Look at the difference that Jesus made, and we have the same Holy Spirit that he had.Jesus didn't do one miracle or healing until He was full of the Holy Ghost, although he was the Son of God, he operated as "Ben-Adam" -The Son of man, That is why he said we could do the same works as He did. John 14:12. |
