well that was interesting. i've just had a phone call from the sons teacher saying that she hopes my son will finish his term on a good note... what the hell is that suppose to mean? he's had nothing but trouble from the school. he is a victim of bullying and the school still claim that there is no such thing at their school. sure his attendence is low but wouldn't yours be if you were bullied. he has tried so hard at school with his subjects and in some is above his level. it seems that he has a really good run and then something is done or said and suddenly his attendence drops. he has told me that sometimes he is so angry that he could punch one of these ppl but he doesn't because he knows that he would be the one in trouble. i just don't know what to do.

I was a victim of bullying. The best thing you can do is put him in homeschool. I wanted my mom to put me in home school but instead I got put into another school and things gotten better after that.

sad to say that i'm not educated enough to give my son home schooling, he is quite the scholar and into science, maths and the likes, i'd just be holding him back. many thanks for your comment Plakola.
