 Racism Caused by History! (?)
In today's generation everyone is equal when it comes to the law, there is no slavery or segregation, but yet there is still white people hating black people and black people hating white people. Yes I know there are other races out there but this is the biggest race issue in America (so I think). Do you really think some little white kid woke up one day and say "hey I don't like black people because their skin is darker than mine." Or a black kid waking up saying "hey I don't like white people because their skin is to light." NO! The way America talks about our history to our children is why they make the decision to become racist. I remember being in school and watching videos of how people were during slavery and how people were during the segregation. They show only the bad, they didn't show how during slavery there were white people who would help black people to become free and learn to read and write. They didn't show how during the segregation there were white people and black people who were friends, and didn't let the segregation affect them. No our history likes to show how horrible America was to black people, and that all the white people from back then were just evil. So seeing that why wouldn't black people hate white people?! For the racist white people, they see and read about our history and they think to themselves "I'm angry and back in the day white people got away with being cruel to black people so I'm going to hate black people." It has nothing to do with skin color, it's about our history and how we teach it to our kids. For example: When Obama said people cling to their religion and guns when their angry. Well I feel the same way; I think people become racist when they're angry because our history shows that we're aloud to do so because we've done it before. I think if we were to do a study and raise kids without teaching them about slavery or the segregation, and never tell them that other races don't get along. See if anyone hates one another because of their skin color. In my opinion I think the ones that do hate each other has nothing to do with race, it has to do with their character.Maybe this makes no sense but to me it does, I'm tired of people hating one another because of their skin color. God created us, so if you're going to hate someone hate God for making us different. Remember to analyze what you read to better understand it!

Yeah my children are mixed, they are black, white, and mexican. My son is lite skin like me but looks just like his daddy, and my daughter is really dark like her daddy, but looks just like me. I can't stand that there is still racism. I finally sat down and thought about how racism comes about and it hit me that it's our history. It has nothing to do with people just being born hating another race, it's what we teach our children in school and at home. If you have animosity towards another race, your children see that and think it's right so they start doing it. I use to make jokes all the time about mexicans because my mom would only date guys that were here from mexico illegaly and I would talk crap about them. I would say hateful things like beaner, border brother, wetback, but once my first child was born I just realized it's wrong. And hurtful, I do regret saying those things in the past, but I've learned from it and now I am trying to teach my kids there is no difference between anyone who has a different skin color. GOD created us, so if anyone wants to hate someone hate GOD for making us different. I love GOD for what he did, but you can hate him and you'll have to deal with him when you die and see him on your judgment day.

A lot of racism is learned at home, children growing up and hearing their parents say bad things about other races and use racist terms to describe people. More comes from hate-speak by groups like the American Nazi Party or the Ku Klux Klan that preach racial superiority; and from people like Louis Fahrakand and Jesse Jackson that tell blacks that they are never allowed to get an education or have good jobs.
