| Biggest issues in America cont.! Part 2

Ok now let's get started on America made in China, I say this because almost everything we buy is not made here in America. We send more money out of our country than we get back. Almost 67% of our money gets sent out and we never see it again, it never returns. The government says they don't want to get involved with businesses because it would be wrong to control them. OK you don't have to control them, just tax them more. I think for any business owner who wants to send their business out of America should be taxed more, that’s what other countries do that's why they don't buy very much stuff from America, because they get taxed too much. Here in America our unemployment rate keeps going up because we keep sending our jobs to other counties. So if we tax every business that sends our jobs out of the country, tax them to the point where it would be equivalent to hiring someone in America. They wouldn't want to send their business out of America because it would be the same as paying an American to work rather than paying half the price for someone in another country to do the job. Just a few months ago, Hershey said they were shutting down 3 or four factories to send them to Mexico because it is cheaper to hire them to do the job. Not only does that raise our unemployment rate, it means more people on welfare who are going to be spending our tax money. So, that means less taxes to go towards other things, because the taxes our going to have to be given to those people in need. So why is it that America allows this, why do we let these greedy people send their businesses out of America, it's not bringing more money into our country to help, it's only hurting us? Tell me America, why? So to me I think this is one of the biggest issues the presidential candidates should be focusing on, is getting our jobs back in America, and bringing more of our money back to America. What do you think? |

You make a good point, the movement of jobs out of the US has contributed majorly to the current weakness of the dollar. america boomed back in the day, when we imported less, and made more of our own products here. I don't know what if anything is being done about the trade deficit but we need some action, fast!
