| how to stop sleep talking

I've been terribly, terribly slack, and I apologise for it. Some of you must be wondering what on earth I've been doing. Especially since the last entry feels like a lifetime ago.
I've just been having a look at what you can do to stop sleep talking...Rochelle, the only room mate left in my room at the moment, was telling me last night that my sleep talking has been getting more and more proficient. I feel really bad for her, I really don't like the thought that I keep her awake. She's always saying it's kinda cute, but I really wish I could do something to stop it. As far as I can tell, I at least haven't been sleepwalking...I think the last time I did that was when I was in Melbourne and I jammed a chair against my door. (It's a damn good thing I haven't been - I have slept on a number of top bunks since arriving in Edinburgh)
There is a lot of conflicting solutions and causes here - either I sleep too deeply, or not deeply enough. Or I'm stressed. Or I should stop eating strawberry ice cream. (?!) So far the most logical looking solution is wearing a mouth guard. Seeing as that's probbably a good way to stop grinding my teeth, that looks like a winner. (Thanks to Annaleis sharing a room with me for 20 nights in a row, I now know that I grind incessantly, too)
So, anyway, other stuff. I should mention that I got another job - the bike shop one fell through, as most of you probably already know. I am really pissed about all of that, I feel like I have wasted a lot of time because of it all. I'm now working at the Fringe, which is five weeks worth of pretty solid work, and will at least keep me out of trouble. I've just emailed the co-ordinator to find out whether I'll be able to get the nights that I have already bought tickets for off - here's hoping. While I know that I'll be able to see a heap of gigs for free, I really really really want to go to the gigs I've already bought the tickets for.
I've decided to go down to London for a couple of days before I start with the Fringe. It'll probably be cheaper to be down there than up here, because at least I can eat with the Levis, lol. And I won't have to pay for internet or washing. I'm quite looking forward to going down there to see a few people, and to go skating - Edinburgh still is stubbornly short of decent places to skate. I'm really looking forward to going around Hyde Park again.
Okay, I'm going to go now. Climbing a hill this afternoon. How active.
