| Hillary vs. Palin |
Mr. Always Amazed,
I really like the name you go by. There must be hundreds of others out there that are becoming to be always amazed day by day with the new choices now in the white house. I was wondering if the election were to be tomorrow, and our choices were Hillary Clinton vs. Sarah Palin, who would you decide to vote for and why? Hopefully this scenario will not come to light but in case it does, I would like your opinion.

Thank you for your letter and your concern.
May I say that for once, I am not amazed by your letter. You are not alone in your thoughts. Not that I would want either one to run the country at the present time, but if that was my only choice and the contest was between those two individuals, I would pick Sarah Palin in a heart beat! Why? True, she may be a maverick, but she is a maverick conservative crusader. She is a butt kicker and that is what is needed to get this country back on course.
During her term as Governor of Alaska, she has shown that she will expose misconduct and has done so many times. Hillary on the other hand, shows a complete lack of competence in her dealings; she constantly has covered for her husband's personal failings; her role in Whitewater and the majority of her ideas are not compatible and very inconsistent.
Palin has the uncanny gift of knowing exactly what voters are looking for. The public don't see Hillary as sincere and she is a disaster on moral thinking.
Palin has risen to power by battling corruption in Alaska many times over. On the other hand because of Hillary's past, Hillary is a polarizing a figure and thinks she is innocent of any wrong doing & thinks she is a righteous virtuous woman.
Palin is one of the great political arcs of the new century, while Hillary is the biggest left-wing failure in decades because of her desire to have every issue both ways and her refusal to admit to error. Maybe she is spending too much time around Pelosi!
Palin is a committed Christian, practices Pro-Life, is affable, and has never been part of “the good ol boys club. Hillary on the other hand, has a know-it-all persona, only proved by her “Tammy Wynette Act”, stand by her man, only because of his vast political
talents and his limitless prospects. I believe if the "Gay Nazis" could vote, Hillary would support their cause too!
Palin is far outside the Political Beltway, is against pork-laden bills and willing to take on the entrenched bureaucrats, which I give her two thumbs up.
Hillary has been shown to have poor financial planning, a squabbling staff around her(her chosen ones) and many errors of calculation.
I have read many books about Palin and Hillary. The treatment Hillary gives her staff and her use of negative language alone leaves much to be desired and would make a sailor blush!
Richard, I have to pick Sarah Palin!
