I know, that's what everyone says moms are for and i really do understand it , but even my doctors say she over does it a bit too much. i would just like her to respect my personal space and give me some privacy and i try telling her that i will come to her if i ever had anything to talk about, but the more she pushes the less i wanna talk to her because i dont know if she will tell anyone like she has done before because before she told people that i tried overdosing and that if she never gave me what i wanted i would have killed myself- like man, that is nobodys buisness and i think she shouldn't have done that and i tell her so, especially when it's not entirely true what she says. It's like she always has to stretch the truth.

My mother never respected my privacy as a teenager and she still doesn't now and I'm nearly 40. She used to read my journals and hunt through my room when i was 16/17. I have cut contact with her over the past two years and now she went and rang all our family members to tell them how worried she was about me.
Anyway, I agree with you - it seems she doesn't respect you and it's no wonder you don't trust her to share your life with.
