 IT'S RAINING IN MAZATLAN!!

Nothing heavy, just gentle little shower. Kind of nice if it doesn´t go on forever. Not too much accomplished yesterday; I think I burned myself out a little on Thursday. Mastered the bus system,  or at least what I have to master. So I went downtown to the market, and then walked around the old area for a while. Brunch at El Shrimp Bucket, then decided to get out of the heat and hopped a bus back to the hotel. Hid out for a while and started walking downtown after dark. It was longer than I thought, so grabbed a cab for the last half of it. Checked out a couple of places; had a few beer and some fish and chips. Back in the room by midnight. Aren{t I an exciting person??

BIG surf this morning across the street woke me up. Just had hotcakes and I´m going to jump a bus down to the port area.

Talk to you all later.

Al

Personaly I think so. El Shrimp Bucket Huh? Sounds very Mexican like, LoL. I love wandering around towns new to me, I don't know how much of it would be walking though. I bet the buses are cool. Have you taken any pictures yet? Can't wait til you get back, not to rush you but, I can't wait. Have fun. Marie

If I have the story right, El Shrimp Bucket was started almost 50 years ago by the same person who started Senor Frogs. I tell ya, my walking is painfully (heavy on the pain<9 slow. Most of the city buses I've been on are cool! One most of the city routes there are two level of service. Air conditioned costs 8 pesos, none AC 6 pesos. Not sure which one I like best as the AC ones have heavily darkened windows and you can{t see anything. On the others the windows open.

I got a few pics today, none yesterday, and quite a few Thursday
