Well it looks to me its a long way from Canada down to Mexico how do you get there ,by air, train, bue, or drive down that would take a few days
well have a good time and see you whan you get back

Raymond, I'll be flying down. Only 4 1/2 hours from Edmonton to Mazatlan. There is a group from here driving to Mazatlan this weekend. The Rotary Club will be taking two ambulances, two school buses and a fire truck down. This is something they've been doing for a few years now, and they allow six days driving 'cause we're not talking really fast vehicles here.

I will Heather. It's not living, it's surviving! LOL Some people actually do like winter, although maybe not when it gets this extreme, especially in March. One arguement I've heard is that as it gets colder you put on more and better clothes. When the extreme heat hits some of my friends in the south, there comes a time when you just can't take off any more clothes! But seriously, can you imagine the homeless in this weather? Emergency shelters are set up beyond the ones that already exist when it gets extreme, but some don't want to go there, or just don't make it there. And they don't have the option of putting on more and better clothing.

Another point is I'm not sure if I want to trade the winter (but it sure could be a lot shorter and less severe, thank you) for tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, extreme heat, or the wildfires we hear so much about. There must be some moderation somewhere???

After living this winter in Phoenix I have decided I will never be able to live anywhere cold again.....ever! I envy you my friend, and you know it! Usar tu espanol, tienes no temor!
