I feel old. I mean, I'm only 18 (not even 18 and a half yet), but I feel old. Why you ask dear reader? Well, you see, the college I am currently residing in (and working in) is giving tours to high school students. *sigh.* That seems so long ago.
And if that was enough, I found this list:
YOU KNOW YOU'RE GETTING OLD WHEN...
...A little kid tells you that their favorite show is a really old show named Full House.
...You remember wanting to be apart of Captian Planet's team and ACTUALLY wanting to save the world.
...The Green Ranger (Tommy) was your first love/dream man.
...You knew that Tommy and Kimberly or meant to be.
...You remember watching Corey sitting in detention with Feeny, then several years later,watching Corey and Topanga finally get married.
...All the shows you grew up watching are now on Nick at Nite and/or "kickin' it old school" on The-N.
....You learned all of your life lessons from Clarissa.
...Watching Legends of the Hidden Temple was the only way your parents could get you to learn History.
...You actually tried ALL of the stunts from Wild and Crazy Kids, Double Dare, What Would You Do?, and Global Guts.
...You have been asked what is a cassete tape/player, walkman, VHS, VCR, or a portable CD player is.
...You watched the Power Rangers only until the movie.
...Disney Channel was WAY cooler than Nickeloden for early morning shows, until Nick got the Richard Scary show and Gullah Gullah Island.
...You remember asking your mom who Princess Dianna was, and after she told you, you started to cry with her because you just realized on how wonderful of a person she was, and you would never get to expierence it.
...You remember asking your mom, "Why does a guy named Orange Juice (O.J.) have to be put on trial?"
...You remember the phrase: "WUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZUUPPPPPPPP?!?!" because that was your first pot induendo.
...You remember crying and screaming "DON'T LET GO JACK, DON'T LET GO!" at the end of Titanic, and two months later you HATED Leo Dicaprio because he was "gay" but you didn't know what that meant. You just believed it was true because you heard it on TV.
*even bigger sigh.* Those were the days, weren't they?
